CCJ Conservatory Pre-Company Program
The CCJ Conservatory Pre-Company is a focused, developmental program for motivated dancers ages 6–10 who are not yet ready for the full demands of our Performance Company but want training that goes beyond recreational classes. This program is designed to build strong technical foundations, training emphasizes ballet, tap, conditioning, and technique across multiple styles. Participants receive structured weekly training that balances technique, skill-building, and musicality. Classes prioritize safe alignment and strength, progressive technique, and age-appropriate performance coaching.
Expectations and highlights:
Ages: 6–10
Focus areas: ballet, tap, conditioning, technique, jazz, and contemporary
Commitment: regular weekly classes with occasional additional rehearsals for performances/conventions
Performance opportunities: The Two Claras in December, our annual spring showcase, select events and conventions
Conventions: Pre-Company will attend four conventions during the 2026–2027 season to broaden experience, receive masterclass instruction, and showcase growth

• 6:15-7:30 Rehearsak with Ariel or Bonnie
Cost is $300 Monthly
Choreography and associated costumes are extra.
There will be weekend rehearsals leading up to The Two Claras Christmas performance, and prior competition.
